1989 Anglo Arabian Gelding

Sarah came to Painted Valley Farms at the age of 8 in 1993.  In 1994 she sponsored the lesson horse Omega Sunray, and in 1996 she purchased Charley, a very green 7 year old gelding.  Sarah, with the guidance of PVF has done all of his finish training herself.  She showed 4-H, Open, Oregon Dressage Society, Oregon High School Equestrian Team and USEF-Arabian shows.  While She has competed in Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure, she is entirely focused on Dressage and Eventing these days.

Charley is now retired from the show arena.  He still carries riders with a little attitude and maybe a sense of humor as well.  Sarah keeps him in shape while she waits for her up and coming dressage mount, SC Cirrus Wind, to finish his education with trainer Katie Stodick.
